It just hit me out of nowhere. That feeling you get when you realize you don’t talk to certain people anymore. You begin to wonder why. What happened? It all seems so long ago, but somewhere along the way, you lost touch with people who once meant the world to you. It’s sad, but it happens. I understand that our circles of friends and acquaintances and peers are constantly changing as we go from one phase of life to another, but make time for people who matter. Reach out to those you’ve lost touch with. Send a text; make a call; shoot an email. Do something. The point is life is too short to let people slip from your life. Forget the petty differences that made you drift apart, and accept and love people who for they are now, not what they were or what you think they should be. So reach out to someone today.
